Licensing With Pemberton & Oakes

Why license through Pemberton & Oakes?

  • We have brought artists and manufacturers together for successful licensing arrangements since 1977, often generating substantial income for both parties.
  • As an artist associated with Pemberton & Oakes, you gain the exposure and recognition of working with a highly regarded company that has developed some of the most successful licensed art available.
  • We are regularly in contact with top licensees as a result of many longstanding, successful relationships and licensing programs.
  • We can identify licensees and market opportunities that we feel have greater synergistic potential with your specific artwork.

Pemberton & Oakes has successfully worked with are collectibles, home décor, giftware, stationary, published products, housewares and many others (click here for a more detailed list). We stay attuned to which combinations of art and product work in the ever-changing marketplace. We are in contact with licensees worldwide that may be seeking art just like your own!

Pemberton & Oakes knows of several companies currently seeking art, what types of art work for these companies, and what trends they are following. We can thus narrow our search from the outset, saving time in finding appropriate matches between artwork and licensee. We also make our categorized Image Database available on-line to manufacturers and publishers seeking art.

If we decide to offer you representation, we will work on your behalf to promote your imagery to companies seeking licensed artwork. We may want to represent some or all of your work. If you are an artist or art-based intellectual property owner and are interested in working with us, please see our Art Submittal Guidelines.
